Dental Crowns

Restore strength. Enhance appearance. Smile with confidence.

A dental crown is like a protective cap that fits over a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance.
Dental crowns aren’t just about protection—they’re also a powerful way to improve the look of your smile. Whether you have a damaged, worn, or discoloured tooth, a crown can restore both its function and appearance in a way that looks completely natural. No one will know it’s not your natural tooth!

Why might I need a Crown?
• A tooth is cracked, broken, or worn down
• After a root canal treatment
• To support a large filling when not much natural tooth is left
• To improve the look of a misshapen or discoloured tooth
• To anchor a dental bridge in place

Cosmetic benefits of Crowns:
• Cover discoloured or misshapen teeth
• Restore symmetry and balance to your smile
• Blend seamlessly with surrounding teeth
• Provide a long-lasting solution for chips, cracks, and wear
• Boost your overall confidence and comfort when smiling

Why patients love Cosmetic Crowns:
• Custom-designed for shape, colour, and shine
• Made from high-quality ceramic or porcelain for a realistic finish
• Designed to last—with proper care, they can stay beautiful for years

What process am I to expect?
• Comfortable appointments with numbing for a pain-free experience using an intra oral scanner rather than the traditional impressions.
• A temporary crown placed while your custom crown is being made
• A permanent crown securely fitted for long-term durability
• Options include porcelain, ceramic, and metal-based crowns—your dentist will recommend what’s best for you

Crowns are a perfect combination of cosmetic artistry and functional strength—and they can completely transform the way you feel about your smile.

Caring for your new dental crown
After your crown is placed, it’s important to care for it just like a natural tooth to ensure long-lasting results. With the right habits, your crown can last 10–15 years or more!

What am I to expect after Crown placement?
• Mild sensitivity to hot or cold for a few days — this is normal and usually fades quickly.
• Your bite may feel slightly different at first — let us know if it doesn’t feel right after a few days.
• Avoid sticky or hard foods for the first 24 hours while the cement fully sets (for permanent crowns).

How do I care for the Crown?
• Brush and floss daily to prevent decay at the gumline.
• Avoid chewing hard items (ice, pens, hard lollies) to prevent cracking.
• If you grind or clench your teeth, consider a custom nightguard.
• Keep up with regular dental check-ups to monitor the crown and surrounding teeth.

A crown is strong — but your care makes it last. If you experience pain, looseness, or anything unusual, contact us right away.
